Miracles Do Happen
Sometime during the night a miracle of great porpotions took place in the land of my blog. All the html work I had done has magically appeared. Maybe SOMEBODY should have told me about a possible delay. Anyhoo my blog is now well on its way to becoming beautified and extra special for evryone to enjoy... so start enjoying!
HTML: SATAN'S CODE
Well, as I made clear previously I am new to blogging. In an attempt to beautify what is now my very plain and need I say crappy blog I asked my techno-god sibling to lend a hand in teaching me the ways of html. I now know why I have spent the entirty of my life avoiding that very thing; it's Satan's work. The seemingly simple instructions I was given must have left out the part about needing to be versed in the black arts to actually get what you change to appear on your blog. I can "preview" my lovely changes and oh look there they are all pretty and new. I followed the instructions "you must republish to see changes" to I republished, I republished 15 times and now I know that it doesnt really want to publish my changes it just wants to taunt me with that preview button and laugh at me with it's "republish 100% successful". 100% my ASS! I wasn't cut out for the dark world of html. My brother fell under it's spell and who knows how much he's given up to get it to do his bidding. So my non-exsisnant readers (im hoping for some any day now) I ask you this: Where have all my links gone?

Inspired by my kin I have decided to begin blogging. As a virgin blogger it will undoubtedly take me a while to get into the swing of things and therefore my blog will look crap for a very long time... perhaps forever. To kick off my brand-new blog happy life i think i should tell everyone out there a few things about me and my life.
1. I'm a 21 year old trapped in a 30 year olds life (only temporarily though).
2. I'm an american living in Australia (only temporarily though).
3. I'm Married (a theme was emerging, but lets be optimistc here).
Now let me explain the above mentioned characteristics:
1. I met an Australian online, dropped out of university, moved to Australia in with his Catholic Maltese family, got married, and now I am a housewife looking for work. If that sounds depressing you're not wrong. If it sounds exciting you are destined to make the same mistakes. Upsides to giving up life of a 21 year old for life of a 30 year old: love, pretty ring, traveling, growing up. Downsides: anything else in the entire WORLD you can think of.
2. I grew up overlly patriotic thanks to a heavily republican and military father. Should a university of Oregon student ever be republican? No? i thought so. Well the republican thing has worn off probably because im 8500 miles away from my father and the country. However, this upbringing has made me feircly loyal to my homeland. If you have ever lived or traveled extensivly outside of north america you will quickly find that just like in middle school where everyone hates the head of the class everyone loves to hate on america. Because of this Australia to me is like living in enemy grounds. Most the time i feel like im crawling under barb-wire... especailly when im with the in-laws (we will get to them later). The city of Melbourne is great and there is about a million more things to do and see then in oregon but the trade off is a pricey one.
3. I am married to a 20 year old Australian psychology student. Good news is I need a psychologist, bad news is psychology students think they know everything which he clearly doesnt and I do.... i hope you're begging to see the problem there. He is 100% Maltese. this means his parents are food-pushing, nagging, bigoted, catholics who might i add have won this centuries award for best guilt. I'm more then sure you will here more about my in-laws at a later date. My husband and i have a puppy. Spike. He is a very smart dog but like his "daddy" he purposely disobeys just to see what i will do. Sometimes they even do this at the same time and my head explodes.
Well thats about all i have to say for the first installment of my brand-new bog.
Thank you come again!
